| The re-development of Redfern Oval and Redfern Park is on schedule to be completed by the middle of this year. The boundaries of the ground itself can be made out when passing by the site and the western grandstand is well and truly taking shape, as can be seen in this photo with the Rabbitohs Building on Chalmers St behind it. The floodlights will be e rected shortly as too will the palm trees that will surround the ground. The $20 million re-development of Redfern Park and Redfern Oval by the City of Sydney will provide the South Sydney Football Club with state of the art training facilities and open space for the community in general. The Rabbitohs building is also under development and it is on schedule to be re-opened in the latter half of 2008. |
