| Williams didn't instruct them to slow it down after the 1st quarter, they consistently do it themselves whenever the opposition applies a bit of pressure. The players collectively lack the confidence, courage and basic football nous to keep attacking, and their skills and decision making are appalling. Combine that with the lack of any work ethic and defensive capability and we have yet another embarrassing performance. However, it's long overdue that Williams is made accountable for the fact that he clearly is unable to instill these traits into the squad - they've been serving up the same rubbish for 2 years. And we've got him for at least another 2 years...I can hardly wait. |

| Playing for a single quarter will never win games. 4.8 for 3 quarters is pitiful. Slowing down is the wost thing you can do. Attack, attack, attack - thats how you win games. Port's defense is rubbish so they need to win by outscoring the opposition. |

| Yet another spineless, gutless performance from this football team. We lack leadership and run around with our heads up our backsides when things get tough!! 10 minutes into the 2nd qtr after Mark Williams instructed his players to slow the game down and revert back to that chippy chippy football, the game was lost for port. We need a change,weed out the players who dont want to play for such a proud club and get rid of Chocco hes been a great coach and won us a flag but its time to move forward and with him at the helm that aint gonna happen we will continue to slide down the ladder!!! |
