| Well done to the Roos, fully deserved to win. Got the buffer at the start by being harder at it and kept at it right through. The way it's going there will be half the field fighting for 8th spot in the last round, Port one of them. Geelong, Saints then daylight at the moment and can't see that changing in a hurry. Then again, who would have had Freo a game and percentage off 3rd spot a month ago. |

| Even if we did pinch it North still deserved the win. They played the better footy all day and we only had a sniff because they kept taking the pedal off late in each quarter and we happened to finish strong. Considering North's injuries they did very well and may have unearthed a few raw diamonds in the process. For Port to be a serious top 4 contender (like people seem to think Port are) they needed to win this one. We can't afford to be hot and cold because thats what loses finals. How we are still 4th is beyond me. I still think we're sitting better than we should be. I have to admit I prefer seasons like this that are hard to pick. Even if there is a team or two clearly on top the rest of the 8 is open for most of the rest. |

| ayttak2- looks like one of those seasons- not really knowing who's going to win any bloody match. BUt it was an enjoyable match -I loved that North tried to take you guys on. | North clearly wanted it more and by the 2nd half the damage was done. I had a feeling we'd come back and give them a scare but to North's credit they held on. The delivery into the forward line was terrible. How many times does Motlop need to be in space before they kick it to him? Pearce never manned up properly. Again Brogan was attacking at ground level - where are the crumbers who should be doing that? Davenport did ok in his first game. He's no Hartlett but given some of the performances he could get a few games this year. Goes to prove yet again our defense is below par. Its all well and good to play in a 38 goal shootout but we need to kick straight. Against a better team we would have scored half what we did and gave away just as much on the scoreboard. |

| Another dismal performance showing what a lazy, undisciplined and mentally weak side Port are. The first half was a disgrace and a few patches of decent football in the second half were never going to be enough. | Well it was hardly nasty. Port almost pinched it when they looked down and out. Salopek and Kane Cornes being injured could be a problem though. |

| I really hope you're wrong Ammmatt, but history shows that we have been North's beeatches since our inception. I think you beat us about 10 in a row before we finally registered a win, and have struggled to string a couple in a row against you since. | I think 4-2 is about right considering who we've played. The only real surprises were Eagles and Hawks matches, which really underlined our inconsistency. With 2 winnable matches coming up against the Roos and Tigers we could be placed well, but will need to be as the run after that is pretty tough. Well done to the boys on the weekend. Geez it feels good to belt the Camrys. |

| How is it we're the only team on 4-2 and by default 3rd on the ladder?!? I think we are placed higher than we should be right now. Time to earn that spot boys. Prove me wrong! |
