yeah surprisingly both their names do seem to be mentioned in the same conversation quite regularly
I really hope they dont bring in Thurstans in for Brogan. He is the weakest link.
Would be good to see young Thompson get a guernsey this week, looked good in the pre season. Port for mine, hopefully by lots |

| Whats done is done, no point whinging about it. Every club gets a seemingly rough deal at some stage during the season. I'm sure Lade is really looking forward to taking on Cox by himself now. not. |

Was just looking for the bite that was not forthcoming rob. lol
In all seriousness it was VIDEO and UMPIRE TESTIMONY which did Brogan the bogan in. After Campbell Browns stupidity going on telly admitting he lied to the tribunal, the AFL has cracked down on players not giving full and proper testimony. I think Lovett could have said "yeah, he did run into me and he knocked me over, but I wasn't really hurt" and left it at that. But at the end of the day Brogan and Port should be more disappointed in his actions than anything Lovett said. Ok for Bogan to give it to Lovett during the game but at 1/4 time he should have just went back to his own huddle. Now he has has made it harder for Port to be the weagles, not Lovett. |

| pretty disappointed in Brogan, wasn't really necessary. Having said that, not sure what the difference was when Cloke knocked the wind out of Cousins last week when he was looking the other way and the ball was 100m away. Thats the tribunal these days it seems, a bit of a lucky dip |

time honoured tradition .... it has been broken heaps of times.
but one got to ask why would bogan run through a player from behind, that to me is cowardly |

I thought Port supporter would be ropeable about Andrew Lovett's testimony playing a part in getting dean Brogan suspended. Instead of Lovett giving a sanitised version that may have helped Brogan he went the whole hog and dobbed Broges in good and proper according to the reports in the paper.
Has Lovett broken a time honoured tradition of footballers trying to help their opponent at the tribunal? If reported correctly was he sooking after Brogan and Port players gave it it to him verbally? Will we see more of this now? |
