| We have depth for our forward line but if we lose both Motlop and Westhoff it will be tough to cover. At least we could possibly rotate Brogan and Lade as a tall in the forward line next week. I hope they don't go into this game thinking Melbourne will be pushovers because I get the feeling they might upset Port. |

| Taking nothing away from WC who were good, but Port were terrible. Playing at a ground we usually do well at, with 4 guys playing milestones, with a full list to choose from, they dish up that sh.t. What the? Live the Creed? not quite |

| All the same things were on display as Port inflicted on us last season: - total lack of workrate - total lack of accountability - appalling skill level - no pride, no character WC are likely to be a bottom 8 side and Port made them look like champions. Absolutely pathetic. |

| I hope so, but I'm far from convinced. Many seem to think improvement will just happen this year, but after the lack of character and effort shown last season I'll believe it when it happens. | New captain, new year. 2008 was a disgrace but its past. 2009 is a whole other year. Can we make the finals? I think we can. I'm thinking 5th-8th. |
