Fact is that PAFC are the most successful club in the history of Aussie Rules, They base their game around toughness and success. I wonder how many of you realise that since our inception in 97 we have a greater win loss ratio than any other club. We also are perhaps the only team to have failed to have a rebuilding phase. We have never finished bottom, nor been the easy beats. I thought the way we played sunday was a credit to theyoung team and the coaching panel. It takes time to instill hardness into teenagers, the way we took on the best team in the comp hands down was great, For those that actually watched the game you will know that the only difference was the third quarter and some of the second. Congrats PORT, good effort this week, now lets belt the tigers by 40+ |

| Port are just digging a deeper hole for themselves. Attitude plays a big part in a football game, and Port are showing everyone how NOT to behave. Shame, because they do have a good side and have played alot better without the "If you cant beat em, bash em" attitude. No one respects that sort of attitude. Grow up Mark. | Have to laugh at people like doc_furlikr who very quickly forget that their team was a dismal underachiever for many years and deservedly earned tags like the handbaggers. | Whatever. We never expected to win and we didn't. It happens. When we played Geelong earlier in the year we lost by 9 points. They are the benchmark team and coming close to them on their home ground is a huge ask. We know we're out of finals contention this year. Adelaide have yet to realise they will be there to make up the numbers for a week. |
