| A new coach? Not gonna happen, rightly or wrongly, they're all too good mates in the hierarchy down there. If Cornes did anything that bad he'd be reported, they can't get away with anything these days. On your side, some good signs especially from the young forwards, they made our defence (which I can't help pointing out is soft as butter) look stupid. If they can perform like that against better opposition they'll give you some real hope. Congrats on an encouraging game. |

It's been a long slow recovery from his knee injuries and he needs to do more over 4 quarters, but he's making a decent contribution. No doubt a few players will go, and the experienced ones need to show more leadership, agreed. |

| The "at least we made it" line has some merit. The fact is Port outperformed 14 other teams in 07. Personally I'd much prefer my team to make the GF than not, regardless of the result. | i for one do highly admit port overly achieved in 07,i didnt expect to make top 8, we were lucky enough to get as far as we did,this year we are ,well, under achieving ,seeing the young guys have gained experience from it and have failed to utilise it, pearce,he's gone AWOL , thurstans WHO , only a few have consistantly put in the effort .and as for bigmouths,cornes,williams and tredders , i knew by media hype it certainly fires the opposition up enough to wreak havoc.! there,hows that for the truth and i am (strikepro61) |

| More like we had a nightmare draw given how teams are performing this season. Losing so many games early has to play mind games with you. It could happen to any team ony year though *shrug* Looks like we might lose Chad Cornes for 5 weeks. Firdt the broken finger, now irs knee cartilage. Its definately not our year! |
