| Disappointing performance, I thought. Port displayed their usual failings: weak defence, poor defensive action around the ground, lack of hard ballgetting onballers, forwards too often out of position. At least they battled on in the 2nd half and had Geelong making uncharacteristic errors, but really wasted a quite winnable game. |

| you had a lead for about ten minutes in the first Geelong could of put it beyond doubt in the first half but could not kick straight and still scored over 110 pionts DEFENCE WINS GAMES gat rid of thrustons the guy was made a fool by tom hawkins and it was his 5th senior match.A guy who should be your number one tall defender got stitched up by a kid port needs to kick too many goals to win each week and will win more than they lose this year imo. |

We had a good lead and the Cats came back to take the win.
Did we stop or are Geelong still just that darn good?
In any case I feel its a step forward to lose by 9 compared to what we copped at the grand final! |
