| After what many thought was a dismal decision to not buy a big name 5/8, it seems the faith in the Panthers to blood the young group of up and commers might just pay huge dividends. I am talking about Pet er Wallace, Junior Moors, and Michael Jennings. There is a lot of hype about these guys, especially Jennings and it seems they have already adjusted to the pressure of playing in the top grade. Considering they won the SG Ball Grand Final last year it seems there is a lot that they will be able to bring to the team. The mix of experience and youth may well create the heights of 2003 all over again. One thing's for sure, it will be interesting to see the progression these young guys make as they become more comfortable and grow in confidence in the NRL. We may have just unearthed a couple of future Kangaroo debutantes. Who knows, anything is possible, especially if you have the talent. |
