| <<Surely there was SOME competitions going on!>> I think you'll find that there wasn't. General Stokes had all other competitions suspended or cancelled so as to not interfere with the replays and commercials. The rest of the competitions that were suspended will be resumed sometime in 2009. |

But you are right, 22 gold and ive only heard the Anthem once. whereas Australia has won 5 Gold times and ive heard the Anthem 30 times. |

| it should be "power and the passion" ;-) looks like they're going to show Germany anthem. the only time 7 show AFL live is during the Olympics FFS when more people actually want to watch Olympics, every other time its on delay so never watch it. ohh, thats touching.. its nice when anyone other than the US wins, just to mix it up |
