| All three commercial networks may show different material on their HD channel... and often do... I do not know why 7 has refused to sort this mess out by multi channeling ..I can only think they either don't have the technical capacity to do so or it would cost them money... in either case the result is 7 has failed viewers. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| re: Multi-channelling - they are able to show different coverage on their HD channel for starters and in any case they could easily sort some sort of exemption from the Minister. 7 is either too lazy or too incompetent...or plain arrogant.. but actually I think they just didn't even think about it... I am sure 7 management are sitting watching any and everything off the live feeds while feeding us punters the dregs they think we want to watch...that is in the few minutes between commercials. |

Don't suppose anyone working at Channel 7 is reading this thread and feels like making a few waves... come on, I'd feel embarrassed to be working for Channel 7 right now. Make a change! Or any senior email addresses for the management team will do. ;-) |

I won't be holding my breath though." Good luck, I suppose if enough of us voice our displeasure at their coverage, things can only but improve. In fact, that seems to be the *only* redemption for this network. Funnily enough, I also mentioned to the call centre drone that SBS are doing a better job at covering events and showing more live Olympics than they are. I also quipped that AFL's live coverage seems better than the Olympics coverage as well. |

| Just called the 1300 number to speak to a call centre drone. The call was picked up immediately and after registering a complaint about the lack of decent coverage, got some spiel about contractual obligations to the AFL. Needless to say, the complaint is now lodged, and I urge all who are unhappy with the quality of coverage do the same on Seven's call centre number, 1300 737 507. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Well 7 has really shown it is totally incapable of acting a a serious sports broadcaster! The mess they have made of the coverage ...and idiocy of the ALF vs Olympics clash and their downright arrogance in refusing to multichannel so the viewers can decide whether to watch Olympics or AFL shows that 7 management is stuck in 1970s. What a total farce that Melbourne and Adelaide and Hobart have an AFL match dumped on us. 7 sucks but so does the AFL and AOC for allowing this mess in the first place!!! 7 is incompetent beyond belief.... |
