at least if they put it (Hockey game) in full game .. forgive them....

1 channel can't put everything "live" in same time....

still I am saying again, they SHOULD put something in stream (internet), no 1 game per day

Currently on 7 its Half time in the Hockey.
BUT its not live. Game been played already. AUSTRALIA LOST 2-1 to HOLLAND.

I can't believe this! They had "trampolining" in the program, put on the only Australian, showed his routine, showed nothing else, said unfortunately he didn't get anywhere and, I assume, that's that. We didn't even get to see another one or two, to have an idea of the standard he was competing against. This coverage, as others have so eloquently said, sucks.

I've just found somewhere to vent my frustration about the channel 7 coverage of these olympics.
How many different ways are there to throw/hit/pass/balls ??? and since when is throwing a ball across a net an olympic sport??
Hour upon hour of Basketball/Handball/Volle yball/Tennis etc.
Just show me the track and field...the way the Olympics was designed....there doesn't even have to be any Aussies at all in it ...JUST TELEVISE IT....(please)

We all know what they're like! Evil turds the world over are snubbing their noses at sport and the public as they wallow in their own self aggrandisement and purile jingoism. We have to think of ways to fix things. I don't want to have the future Olympics or any major sporting occasion in the hands of avaricious capitalists like Murdoch where we'll be forced to pay not only for the broadcast (with ads)but extra for finals or special games. We have to put pressure on governments to return these events to the people through the public broadcaster. If it takes firebombing 7 and the rest, and kidnapping the board, so be it.

Speaking of awesome dunks. I saw that Kobe alley-oop dunk from the sideline, during a ch7 montage yesterday. That was the first time I saw it. AND I WATCHED THE *** kING GAME. Must of been during that 3rd quarter you skipped, or during the 2min ad breaks while a 30sec time out is on.

It's not just about the swimming. The games is a collection of many other events.

The comment about slow motion replays of nothing. I timed it, 10 minutes long. Then they show some interview with the walker, who finished his race, then some slow motion of his race.

In the mean time, other events continue.

I was watching that slo-mo montage in disbelief. It went on for ages and like you I couldnt help but think what sports we were missing out on, then they went to an interview before another ad break. Incredibly pathetic by seven.

so far the Athletics coverage has not been good. And the field events are virtually ignored. They have showed some pre recorded heats of the track events but they fail to show who is in the field before running so we are basically watching 8 people from who knows what countries competing.
