| I started this post with a genuine message. Then the dickheads came in. There seem to be no message boards on the ABC2 site so we/I end up here. I think the Paralympics are great. So shut up the rest of you! |

In all the many years I have watched our Aussie Teams compete on the World stage I have never cried before, ever. But watching this young disabled girl wrenching her guts out representing her country and loving doing so and to see the absolute joy and emotion on her face when interviewed after her race just broke me, I bawled like a kiddie. She couldn't walk off her bike she was so exhausted and had to be carried by her trainer as she had given her absolute all. Just like Anna Meares in the "other" Olympics, some Olympic Medals seem to mean just that little bit more.
If every athlete can look themselves in the mirror and know in their heart of hearts that they gave their best, gave their all, gave everything they had and were totally and utterly spent after their competition then we should all be proud of them, win or lose. |

I loved the attire jayme's parents wore.. the ole man was in a tank top..he got dressed up for that interview..lol
To Watch these athlete's is nothing short of inspirational..in fact i have enjoyed watching the para-Olympics more then the normal olympics.. Keep up the good work!!! |

| How was good that interview. Jayme Paris, Bronze medallist in Cycling, Women's 500m time trial. For all you low lifes who are knocking these games, and everybody knows who you are, you should be inspired by these athletes. She could sit at home being sorry for herself but she went out and did something ...... and achieved it. |
