Lose to the Brits? A nation of 61 million people got one more medal than a nation of 21 million. Australia didn't lose to the Brits. Not until they win 3 times as many medals. The Brits performance is actually pretty pathetic given the population of the country. The fact that they believe that they "beat" Australia just proves even more conclusively what a nation of pathetic losers the UK really is.

This will be interesting, since Beijing "cleaned up" it's city streets by forcing people with disabilities out of the city, or were ordered to stay indoors for the duration of the Games so as to present the Chinese people as something bordering on perfect. Funnily enough, I saw one photo of Michael Phelps shaking hands with a local Little Person, let's hope the poor guy didn't get thrown in jail afterwards for daring to say hello.

I am surprised the Chinese allow their disabled sports persons to compete. It might affect their public image. I mean if the won't let a little girl perform live on stage because of her looks!!!!

Get over it seriously. Do you think Australia doesn't have people who select good looking people over uglier ones? Prime example is that make me a supermodel show. Why Jennifer Hawkins instead of a Pumpkin head and crooked teethed girl? |

I'm sure we will. 2004 gold medal tally (according to ABC Paralympic web site) was China 63, Great Britain 35, Canada 28, United Sttaes 27, Australia 26. Can't begin to imagine how many China will get this time.

And it will be better than the dog's vomit of a telecast ch7 served up for viewers for the Olympics. I am looking forward to the Paralympics on ABC.
