| Lose to the Brits? A nation of 61 million people got one more medal than a nation of 21 million. Australia didn't lose to the Brits. Not until they win 3 times as many medals. The Brits performance is actually pretty pathetic given the population of the country. | This will be interesting, since Beijing "cleaned up" it's city streets by forcing people with disabilities out of the city, or were ordered to stay indoors for the duration of the Games so as to present the Chinese people as something bordering on perfect. Funnily enough, I saw one photo of Michael Phelps shaking hands with a local Little Person, let's hope the poor guy didn't get thrown in jail afterwards for daring to say hello. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
