after seeing the weather forecast, I wont be wearing it anyway.
Thornley is a very reliable batsmen if chasing a total after early wickets, but you dont want him bowling more than 5 overs if need be. |

Looks like Casson isn't considered an ODD option, but he was named in the XII for the Shield match
and I would be surprised if Katich bowls at all. If O'Keefe doesn't play, you're relying on Toongabbie Tim's Dom Thornely to bowl ten. |

| If Warner doesn't open, I would consider dropping him for this one, but O'Keefe isn't really needed with Smith and Katich both spin options. Where is Beau Casson? |

Ok, I'm off to the Gabba now. I did hear Tassie has been floored with a gastro bug in their camp - I might get a game! :P
Go the Tigers! |

Yeah, I understand they're playing it safe with Haddin, but if he's not "fully fit", he shouldn't be playing at all.
NSW have to somehow find a spot for Warner in FC cricket this summer (assuming his form warrants it), he's more than just a slogger and could develop into a terrific middle order player. |

| Is the O'Keefe related to the Skull. Mind you, Kerry wasnt much of a spinner to begin with. |

| They wanted Haddin to get through a first class game before a recall to Australia. They need to know he is fully fit. |

| NSW has 5 players in their squad (at full strength) that have opened the batting for Australia. The 2 test openers will bat at 3 and 4 while Hughes and Jaques open. If I were Warner, I'd head interstate (Tas will take him! Nah, fk that, we'll take Hughes or Jaques instead!) |

If Haddin is fit to play, I don't understand why he isn't in India.
I think the spinner O'Keefe will play and one of the batsmen will miss out, either Thornely or Rohrer?
Warner
Hughes
Jaques
Katich
Thornely
Haddin
SSmith
O'Keefe
Clark

I'm surprised Parra didn't do a reversal on those jumpers, James Hardie isn't really good for PR these days |

I will wear a 1986 Parra James Hardie jersey

Yeah, I was going to update my jersey after every premiership too - but it's way too expensive for me! :P |

Yeah, I was there for Holdsworth's 49*
Was a great innings for a bloke of limited battting ability. |

Voges made his 62-ball ton there, has done bugger all since
Even Wayne Holdsworth made a half century off about 18 balls there once
bowlers must have nightmares the evening before a game there |

Fatdad has belted sixes in 2nd grade district competition that would clear the smaller grandstands at North Sydney.
Not that I could do it against good bowling though.
I put it down to the bats, If you spend more than $200 on a bat these days, you get an absolute weapon. |

| I remember Tassie playing NSW at North Sydney one day, they scored their highest ever total (about 340) and the Blues still won by about 35 runs! |

Boring, give me North Sydney oval any day.
I saw Andrew Symons beat the Blues basically on his own there in the mid 90's. |

Yep, 5 for 200.
Hahaha, actually I think it has been almost 2 full seasons since the Tigers have passed 350 in an innings, that is unlikely to change on a green Gabba strip!
Still, I'd back the Tigers bowlers to do the job. |
