| I like it when the selectors pick dodgy teams. The only 2 things that kept NSW close in game 2 were Inglis getting coathangered and Bill Harrigans shocking video reffing.. Game 3 in QLD will be a 30+ win for the maroons and the odds on the TAB will be good. QLD by 30+ and Inglis for 1st and last try scorers. Lyon wont stop GI and Giddley is no more than a speed hump. |

| Smeg, I agree with you regarding positions 1 to 12 (AND YOUR INTRO!). 5. B.Morris should have replaced David "fumbler" Williams. 13. Watmough. Good to see him replace Gallen (impact player off the bench I would select to take Watmough's place off the bench would be Tongue at 17). 14. Wing deserves his spot. 15. Leoroyd Lars deserves his spot. 16. Joel Clinton or Josh Perry (4th prop) and 17. Tongue (genuine Origin player). The selectors my friend are obviously as corrupt as a dog with fleas and rabies. Keeping Jamie Lyon and David Williams???? PATHETIC... I still hold out hope but don't see NSW winning Game III. FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME, PLEASE LET US HAVE NEW NSW SELECTORS FOR 2010. | After game 2, Watmough was a no brainer to start. Maybe using Farah as the 7 would have been a better option with Ennis at hooker. Aaah, who knows, certainly not the selectors. |

| Brett White will find a way to lose the game all by himself. I CANNOT see the point in picking this 1/2s pair - it belies all logic. Ill support them and always hold out hope and REALLY hope they prove me wrong but that team is laughable. Were talking Monty Python proportions. |

Also see David Williams is a strong contender to keep his spot on the wing... are you kidding me (did i see him cough up valuable ball on NSW 30m on 2 occassions?!?!?! Bring in Brett Morris to replace him and switch Hayne to work with Jennings on the right centre/wing for NSW... to see the proven and efficient Dragon combination on the left wing - Creagh, Cooper and B.Morris. Suggested backline (if the selectors want to continue to keep Gidley at fullback and bring in Kimorely): 1. Gidley, 2. B.Morris, 3. M.Cooper (replacing Monaghan), 4. Jennings or Hayne, 5. Hayne or Jennings, 6. J.Soward, 7. B.Kimmorley. As for the forwards: 8. J.Poore, 9. M.Ennis (replacing Farrah), 10.Leoroyd Lars (replacing Weyman), 11. B.Creagh, 12. N.Hindmarsh (replacing O'Donnell), 13. A.Watmough. Reserves: 14. Wing, 15. B.Kite, 16. B.White or J.Clinton (whoever so long as you have a 4th prop) and 17. Tongue (I see him playing a very similar role as Watmough from Game II - added spark off the bench!). But again the selectors will be doiing their best to ensure that the Maroons make it a Maroonwash for 2009... pity for the game. Just my thoughts... :( |

| I laughed at Ricky Stuarts expert opinion. Bring back Buderus, put in Mason and O'Meley and experienced guys like Kimmorley and Barrett to help the younger blokes. Bringing in one guy that has played in England all year, but would definitely help the younger blokes. 2 guys who have played sh1t all year and are on the bottom of the ladder and Barrett who played sh1t in origin 2 and hasn't got a good record in origin. If they did bring Buderus back which I highly doubt they would, you wouldnt need 2 more experienced guys in the halves, atleast bring in 1 new guy at 5/8 so you can then get experience out of the halves for the future. |
