| When Phil Gould goes nuts about a decision that goes against QLD, you know it's a shocker! |

Yeah you are most probably right. Losing those 3 will be a huge hole to fill. The rest of the team should still be there for years to come though.
Also if the reffing is constantly that onesided it will test queensland. But they won last night and they the one the series decider in Melbourne 3 years ago with rubbish calls. |

5 or 6 in a row? Maybe, but I doubt we'll see Petro, Price or Lockyer next year. Mind you, Prince will slot in well and there are more than a couple of props that will put their hands up.
As long as the backline remains fairly consistent, and the forwards aren't smashed, I think QLD are a better than even chance of winning most games. |

Tonga had a good game. Might of hurt his arm tackling Hayne, but at least he made the #$%^er limp after. Made the wolfman cough up the pill twice aswell.
I also enjoyed when Weightman ran into petro an was sat on his ass. 4 series in a row and after last night it could stretch to 5-6 series. |

Monaghan suffered because the ball was thrown at ankle level about 5 yards in front of him, and when he did get a good pass, the Qld backs were sitting on top of him.
NSW forwards were hopeless, making their useless halves look even worse and giving no quality to the outside backs.
And if NSW backs got useful ball, Lyon would just run 50 m across field, then kick it dead anyway( or pass it to the Wolfman who would kick it away) |

chucker, Cooper plays on the left side for Saints I think, Lyon is a right centre. Monaghan had to play out of position last night and suffered as a result.
I don't understand why professional footballers have so much trouble standing on the other side of the field. Can they only turn their heads one way or something? There were about 6 or 7 Zoolanders out there last night. |

Hayne=1 lucky intercept+ 1 dodgy try. But still a good player.
Barrett. Used to let Wigan down quite often . Did no better last night.
Refs. Often forget the basic rules in these games. EG Play the ball, Offside. Videos refs tonight had a very poor game. |

Is Cooper being overlooked for his constant no shows to the City vs Country matches??
NO other reason to pick Lyon , the hobbit. |

Smeg, I did say Hayne was good. Best on field - no. I think Thurston was best on field, I was amazed when the award went to Man Friday!
Mind you, I thought GI and Slater were the best in game 1 and Thurston got the gong then - so either I'm a bad judge, or those that vote for the MOTM are, I'm prepared to say that it must be me! |

Forget Origin, it was one of the worst games I have seen, full stop. Queensland were too injured to win it, and NSW were too inept. The refs even tried to help NSW out, still no dice.
The only Blues who get a pass mark from me for game 2 are Hayne and Watmough. |

You guys are way off line sledging Hayne. He was best on ground.
He scored 2 tries on his own, had 2 intercepts, 1 which cut down a certain Qld overlap try and another that led to a try. He very nearly scored a third one and was the only Blue who looked dangerous all night.
He was never one I really liked but in this series, he stood up and showed he is the real deal. If any of the other Blues played with the same gusto and heart, we might have got out of jail.
You only had to look at how sheepishly Gidley and Monaghan and Spacktard Williams ran the ball up compared to Hayne to see how good he was.
I don't know how many times I saw Gidley afraid to catch the ball on the full. He'd let it bounce and give away an easy 10 or 20 metres for fear of pharrking up the catch.
Then you look at the likes of Slater, Falou & Hayne and they were hungry to have it in their hands and charge. Massive vote of no confidence in the back 3 for NSW for me. |

I'm trying to figure out where Hayne was brilliant last night. He was great when compared to Wolfman, but he was in 'Roosters' form! Hayne was good, but not in the best 5 players on the field.
In fact the Blues were so bad that Lockyer was the second worst QLDer on the field (behind Mick C), and he was still in the 20 best players for the game.
Twent should've been told to sit for 10, it was clearly a deliberate ploy to get the best player on the field out of the game.
All up, it was probably the worst origin game I've seen, skill wise. Dropped ball and missed tackles everywhere!
Not to mention the bull5hit video ref calls! |

pleeeeeeeeeaaase
you cannot mention EGJ in a SOO thread , and expect to be taken seriously.
Hayne is an arrogant ****. Orange boots??? Sorry mate, but the jersey is blue. At least show some pride in it. Says a lot when even people in his own state try to shoot him. |

And yes, Poore turned Cr0cker's jaw sharply to the right which was nice but needed an inch or two more of his head to knock the germ out.
bUt give him another Origin and he might get it right. |

Nah. BK, just heard he has already been charged. 2 weeks guilty. 3 weeks contesting and losing.
Still cant believe the Storm bloke who got sent off on the weekend only got a week. That was worth 4-5. |

Yes, he managed to get Cr0cker a beauty and hit a few others high. It did appear the Blues boys targeted the NSW born traitors which I thought was sensational. More of it I say.
And you're right. HAyne MOTM both games. The Qld side needs him instead of Boyd in the back line as the Australian side. Perfect. Slater, Falou, Hodges Inglis, Hayne. Just imagine it.
They'd beat the Sloggers 180 to nil. |
