| Good game for Broncs so far. Dugongs making too many errors , however as they showed in the Morris try if they get it together they are hard to keep out. Broncs to win though they seem to be tiring more than the Dungongs. |

| Word out of the game now is Saints are in deep trouble. Khunt's first try was from a forward pass but no doubt about the second, bloody brilliant. |

Word out of the Saints camp is they intend to bash Locky. His "defence" is questionable, he's missed 86 tackles in 21 games so it makes sense to aim traffic at him. Wallace is just as suspect with 90 misses from 22 games. Taylor is the biggest threat. How do you coach to stop him when he's almost unstoppable, wish he was with Saints.
There's no obvious attacking weak link in the horse rooters but there is inexperience in young Yow Yeh so he could see some ball. If ever Saints pack needs to lift, tonight's the time.
Let's hope for a good game with no controversial reffing.
Saints to win. |

| Here it is! if the Saints want to win tonight they MUST run there whole attack at Lockyer, make him tackle his little heart out. Then shift Costigan to the centres to combat Taylor, Costo is a hard head he will have no problem containing Taylor. Soward must have his kicking game at pin point accuracy and kick to the wingers, so not to give them room to move keeping Hunt out of the play. Big Dell needs to lift the team with his pep talks if that's all he does and the forwards need to bash the Bronco pack around even if they cop a couple of penalties doing it.... |

| If the chooks got bennett, we'd be where they are, except without the choking. Whoever let it slip that he was coming better have been fired. |

| Agree in full bruce, as good a coach in League as there's been and as far as his destractors go they have probably been mostly south of the boarder although he may have a few more fans in the south after this year especially if Saints win the GF. |

who is doubting
i am dirty the chooks didnt get him last year
the guy knows how to get the best out his people and is genuinely a coach in every sense of the word
i believe he left the ploncos because he no longer had complete control over his players on and off the field and hence the player indiscretions of last year at the ploncos
not only that he has always refused to play the media game and has let his results speak for themselves
a humble and caring man who imo is an icon of our game |

| When you see how Bennett has transformed the Dragons this year it really does make you wounder about those that have always doubted his credentials as a coach. |

The Dragons desrve the favorites tag for the game tonight for all the obvious reasons but we did do a number on them the other month when we played them so I wouldn't write the mighty Broncos off completely. We ran into good form when it counted the other year and snatched the prize before anyone new what had happened and we have plenty of big game players so we'll see.
I just hope it's a bit closer than last nights game so as it's interesting to the end win or lose. |

Have to agree in parts there Sushi. The grubbers weren't the biggest issue though. Nobody ran straight lines behind Prince and Presto. Gave them no options so then the defence knew exactly who to go to.
The kicks that really bothered me were the ones that weren't able to be challenged. The ones he kept chipping over the top to an unmarked Eel 5 metres out.
Had he put some oomf into them, put them 5 metres in field and 1 metre out and given his flyers a chance in the air, we might have stood a chance. Maybe even get one spilled into your lap by the defence.
Instead they were just easy pickings. And where was a cut out pass to Gordon with Grothe coming in and up? Didn't see any real backline work 20 metres out.
Very disappointing. |

I had the same criticism of Cronk last season, Sushi.
Folau leaving was the best thing to happen to Cooper, he is a much better player now. |

Smeg,
I think Prince's 5th tackle options are way too predictable. Same grubber kick nearly everytime inside the oppositions 20. A bit of variety like running it might have teams guessing. Right now opposition knows exactly what he is going to do and they can cover it. It is almost like they are playing for a line drop out everytime instead of a try. |

Gave a good account of themselves? What sort of crack are you putting in your pipe? Must be good stuff. They didn't score any tries, they didn't complete enough sets, their last tackle options were pathetic and they gave away silly penalties which put more pressure on themselves.
That, my delusional friend, is not a good account of yourself. |

| I'd rather go down on the EELS than the SEAHORSE again. Last time it showed up at my place 3 weeks later with a belly full of SEAFOALS claiming I was the mother. |

Unless we get some really big ker-hunts to put up the front, I think we are completely phaaarrked in the anooos.
So disappointed with that finish. To end up 1 win off equal with the minor premiers to being gone in 2 weeks without a chance is p1ss poor.
The only bigger disappoint this year is Manly not lasting 1 week. My Titans are the new St George. Promising but phhaarked. |

I am gutted by that performance from my Titans. Didn't even score a try and leaked 100 points in their last 3 outings. Disgraceful. I think Carty needs to look at starting slowly.
For the last 3 years we have come out of the blocks at a million miles an hour (Don't forget we were minor premiers last year for about 2 months early on), then they always have injuries or run out of legs.
They need to start their pre season a month later. Make sure there is enough left in the tank. Such a disappointing finish from a side that should've done better.
Eels vsMelbourne GF now and let us pray it's the Eels. |
