Yep- he wasn't at his best especially at the back.

Anyway good luck tomorrow BK, hope the Ploncos can topple em for ya. Can't see it happening but you never know.

Re:Tonights game Reply to this message
Yeah, and Hayne went a long way to determining the result tonight. Apart from the one try he set up he had a mild shocker.

In my own defense I said straight after the Dragons game that I doubted we'd beat the Storm (my most hated team) this week. If the Storm win I'll be supportin Parra in the Grand Final.

Re:Tonights game Reply to this message
Of course seek.

Sowards was arguably worse- let off

Thurston's in SOO was 3 to 4 times worse let off.

People are calling for consistency, Broncos and Melbourne fans are calling for Hayne's head.

You gotta wonder!

I also doubt it was intentional, but it's careless grubby play.

Re:Tonights game Reply to this message
I don't think Hayne's offence was intentional. Common sense says you don't do that in a GF playoff.
He deserves to play.

Re:Tonights game Reply to this message
I forget - did Jamie Soward get suspended for trying to karate kick Inglis in the head?

That was a lot, lot worse than Hayne's.

Cameron Smith has never had the pull of Hayne.

I hope he's never been pulled by Hayne!!

How many weeks did Thurston get for the kick to the face on Williams in SOO?

BK- I meant from a marketing prospective, from a business perspective, Cameron Smith has never had the pull of Hayne.

Re:Tonights game Reply to this message
The problem with the system is that it assigns equal value to all games.

Missing a game in round one is not even close to missing a grand final, and everyone knows it, but the system doesn't see it that way.

That's exactly the way it has to be. The decision is the same regardless of context.

Re:Tonights game Reply to this message
Anyway,

I'm sure the opposition would want Hayne to play whether it be Melbourne or Brisbane. Otherwise if they win against a Hayneless Parra their win will be tainted to some degree.

It's the fans that need to grow some balls, not the players!

The judiciary process has to be transparent and consisent regardless of the context of the decision, otherwise how can it possibly be deemed fair and impartial?

Re:Tonights game Reply to this message
well I don't support any of the teams left, but I'll be disappointed if Hayne isn't there.

The best players should play in the big games.

Sushi, I was inferring Hindy was focussed on next week, knowing the job is not yet done, whereas the others were happy enough with tonight's win.
