Saints Won in 77 because of Neville Glover - an overpaid winger for Parra who couldnt catch clap in a Thai Brothel.
Manson is a well renowned biased grub, who was a great exponent for the ARL ( the Arthurson rugby league) |

skitzo if the dragons played in the 97 gf i will convert to supporting the red and white chokers
to say you are glorious is ludicrous
it is still weeks from the finals and anything can happen
premierships are not won in the first week of august
when did the dragqueens actually hold up the trophy last time
inglorious is more fitting |

You snifflers might like to go re visit the 97 granny.
Dragons v Manly and watch how the ref gets Manly home..
your the one sniffling about something that happened over ten years ago, GET OVER IT SOOK! and be happy your team is doing well. |

i dont follow either side but only a blind man could not see ridge was on the ground with a dragon player in contact thereby ensuring a legitimate tackle
he got up and scored what should have been a dragons penalty
having said that dodgy decisions will always prop up and a better team would have overcome the setback
does anyone remember who the ref was
the dragons have always cried foul going back to langlands and the bad needle affair in 75 |

| yes, Adrian is thinking of '96, when Saints were outclassed by an obviously superior Manly. Of course, that fact didn't stop long-suffering Saints supporters from bleating about a supposed "controversial" refereeing decision. |

| Adrian, 97 was when the Newcastle Knights won the rigged GF, and the Broncos were nearly unbeatable in the SuperLeague. |

dragons are playing better no doubt since the coming of king benny
all sides need luck to win a comp and perhaps the dragqueens can finally do what they should have done numerous times in the last 20 years given the players they have had
i for one will be truly happy for the poor souls to win a trophy so that overated fat loudmouth spook sailor may retire |

C'mon this is a load of s.h.i.t.
Both of Ding Dong Dells tries came from forward passes that would make an NFL player proud.
And how the hell did Coward get away with that kick to the face when he should have got at least two weeks for it.
Just goes to show how much they are getting looked after by the refs and the NRL bosses.
In an unbiased comp they would be lucky to be running 7th or 8th. |

The NSWRL is also on the Dragons side after they selected all those Manly players to play Origin (some of which didn't deserve to play) so the Dragons could beat a weakened Manly line-up.
The Dragons having 4 rep players out of that same match doesn't mean anything either because the refs are behind them all the way, huh cootes?
Deadset flog you are. |

the best thing will be watch the dragons choke in week 3 or 4 of the finals. it will happen even soward kicking, biting, taking dives or even Wayne cant help with that. im not a broncos fan but always remember what alan langer said:
ST GORGE CANT PLAY!!! |

| Got my hand well and truly off it , Go Manly , The Saints ( Referees that is ) actually did us a favour by wipping the storm . Now Mashem eagles are a chance at the top four . Not much point in any away team turning up for the home teams final when the home side can score tries off forward passes and the away team scores a legit try ( benefit of the doubt ) and the home side doesnt concede any penalties in a half of football , just observation , Storm had you well and truly beat till the refs thought otherwise in the second half |

catch 22
Bennett has a reputation, and players will go to his club - Sailor, Boyd, Costigan to start with.
IF players have the option of going to a club coached by Bennett vs Nathan Brown or a Jason Taylor for the same pay, they will go to Bennett's club |

Fark off this has anything to do with Bennett. Look at the list St George has this year, now compare it to last year!
Bennett is fortunate to have some real class to use (and Henjack at the Broncos has lost most of what Bennett had lasy year!). |

| So that's Manu, Proctor and Quinn for the season. Damn shame, he is a vital player for us - but we do have adequate replacements to come back in. |

Sushi, we'll see - but the Storm are a very good unit, even during their dominant seasons they didn't play well at this stage of the season, only to fire up for finals.
We've got a brilliant halves and hooker combo, a dominant forward pack (any news on Sika Manu's injury?) and a backlie that can score from anywhere.
We also have finals experience and names like Hoffman, White and Blair to come back into the side.
I have faith in my boys, and a home final first up will assist greatly. |
