Glen Archer is another past player that had what it takes for league - ditto Riccuito and D.Jarman.
Former league players - Peachey and Mullins would have gone ok in the AFL, apparently Laurie Daley had a pretty good AFL background too. |

The guy that would have been great in league was Paul Kelly (the Swan, not the musician). Tough as nails and not afraid to do the hard work. Great leader too.
Darren Lockyer could play any code of football. |

Leo Barry - Centre
Lance Franklin IS Greg Inglis IS Lance Franklin. They even look alike.
Russel Robertson - wing... jsut cuz of his jumping/marking ability.
goodesy - hooker. bit big, but can run, kick and pass with immaculate skill.
danyle pearce - halfback
Thats enough of that.
Inglis, Falou and Inu would switch easily.
Minchiello, in his prime as a fullback. similar to leo barry.
hunt - as above
Gus Gould - is the greatest coach at any sport, obviously |

"Hodge would make a good hooker "
haha won't have that at the family club
I saw that high ball grab by folau in SoO and he would have to be an obvious... I have heard that the Storm do use an aFL training system as well.
could you imagine Dustin FLetcher haha he would snap in half! |

Aaron Davey? Bit small for a fullback I think - then again Preston Campbell does ok.
Speaking of, Preston would go well in the AFL, as would Matt Rogers. |

AFL:
1) Aaron Davey - fullback
2) Luke Hodge - halfback
NRL:
1) Falou - outstanding under the high ball
2) Matt Cooper - good defender |

Kinger, being a Storm and Hawks fan, I see so many similarities between Franklin and Inglis it's just not funny!
Actually Hodge and Cam Smith are very similar too - so maybe Hodge would make a good hooker and Smithy can slip into our midfield.
Sammy Mitchell looks like a halfback too :) |

interesting topic. beats the ner ner my sport is better then yours rubbish!
can't really add, don';t know many league players or the full fundamentals to really say so and so would be good.
Could Judd without the shoulder issues play as a winger? not sure of the poss's switches
nye - I think Franklin would be good with his althetism (good thing they don't need to kick the ball at goal :P) |

Inglis is a no-brainer, Lions wanted him.
Lance Franklin could switch into a fullback role.
J.Brown could maybe be a centre. Gary Ablett a halfback.
Slater could make a go of a code switch too. Sorry, all I can think of is Melbourne :)
Ok, Inu would go well - even in a midfield role. And I suppose most halfbacks and 5/8s could be developed into midfield players - if fit enough. Scott Prince might go ok. |

Pick two players from each code you think could swap successfully to the other code:
AFL to League:
1. Barry Hall (Prop)
2. Luke Power (Back Row)
League to AFL
1. Greg Inglis
2. Israel Falou
Yeah, I know, 3 obvious choices. |
