| Petro had a great game. He got the ball a couple of times from the kick offs and bought it back strongly each time. I can also see why they pick Kite, he is such a massive unit and like petro is robust. Aus has a monsterous side at the moment, having Bird in to replace Lockyer added more size. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Well I don't recall Kite, Webb or Mason doing anything impressive. Gallen was good and bad with his grub tactics, Hoffman, Cr0cker and Topou were fairly good but uninspiring. | I thought Inglis' athleticism was something special, but I thought Civoneceva was fantastic. He made some 12 and 15 metre hit-ups in very tight spots under considerable attention. The Aussies blew them away early, but to their credit, the Kiwis didn't buckle and let it turn into a blow out. I thought Isaac Luke may have had his defensive lapses, but he showed what a livewire he can be with some great runs out of dummy half. They just needed him to run behind SBW, so that when he got those arms free, there was someone able to shoot through the gap. Not bad for a first timer who's played only a handful of 1st grade games. Hopefully, they'll grow from that and come out with some belief right from the start for the World Cup encounters. |

| I dont think there was anything wrong with the aussie side picked. It wouldve been more exciting if the Aus didnt score 4 of there 5 tries in the 1st 20 mins. NZ look as though they could be competitive if you look at their second half. Aus will be very very hard to beat in world cup. Look at the size of our wingers. In fact every position we have quality players. The Australian team looked bigger then the kiwi's aswell. Usally the kiwi's are the bigger side. SBW was the standout player by a mile for the kiwis. I'm not sure who was Australia's best was. I'll pick Inglis as he did the most memorable things. His try assist to gaz was freaky and his kick return where he made 40+ metres was impressive aswell. Lastly, it was good to see the kiwi's finish the game strongly. Most games I remember they start strong and peter out at the end. |

| First 20 min the NZ team were pathetic in defence. They took a long time to get into the game and it was all over before they started. Best players for the Aussies were Thurston,Hodges,Inglis and Webb. |
