| Thats about F grade over there,normally reserved for 16 year olds. However I will definately keep my ears open for any results that an Aussie gets. Who knows.Maybe its just the start of more Aussies to race in the Worlds best series |

| FORMER Devonport racing driver Owen Kelly has signed a deal with US NASCAR racing legend Dale Earnhardt Junior, which could provide him with a stepping stone to the main game - NASCAR. Kelly yesterday returned home from the US, where he has spent the past week with Earnhardt's team. Now based in Melbourne, Kelly, 30, raced in the last four rounds of the Australian V8 Supercar Championship last year and has been signed by Ford Performance Racing to co- drive at the Bathurst 1000 and Phillip Island 500 this year. Kelly will also race in the US in coming months as part of Earnhardt's JR Motorsports Team and will be one of five drivers running in Late Model NASCARs on short-track ovals. But he is not a total rookie to the style of racing, after testing successfully with another team last year. With help from former Tasmanian NASCAR racer Marcos Ambrose, Kelly drove four races for former NASCAR driver Robert Pressley in North Carolina in 2007 a similar category to what he will race this year. |

| Thats why Ambrose has been conservative at the beginning of races.He realises that 1 dent in the car will slow him down too much.He is just trying to keep it straight until over half way,then he goes for it. In Aus we only see the cars flat out down conrod.Over there they are flat out every straight of every lap.Aero dynamics play more a factor than or V8s. |

| At a re-start at Atalanta the field went 4 wide into turn 3. Thats 4 cars door-to-door,turning at 170mph and no paint was swapped. Imagine the kelly bros in the middle of that??????I cant |

| Dazza,the original post was made because there was rumours that "more Aussies were joining JTG" We all asumed it was a driver.IT WASNT The new Aussie team-mates were CREW. Giles,Forgie and Douglas. All Aussies and all NEW to the team. Not a holden driver.The tip is that it is whincup that has Tad interested in bringing him across for testing and MA endorsed the kid. |

| Ambrose just had a 23rd finish at Nashville. Car set-up was out and he had to baby the car around the track. Hes new to the sport and so is has Aussie crew,so just finishing and getting up the points was a fine effort. Conrats team #59 |

| well lets hope ,whoever the new driver may be..lets hope it someone who has some talent and someone for all australians!!! unlike Ambrose..who ,the only way he could win a atcc championship...was have ingall run around and take out his biggest rivals. and before all you ford lovers start writing all your intellectual words of wisdom...this has nothing to do with him being a ford driver!!! but it has everything to do with Ambrose being a total t@sser!!! In fact,now i think of it..rick kelly would be the perfect 2nd driver...he's another total t@sser... and the team could be called ...TTTTT (The Total T@sser Touring Team)...the only problem with that is,That neither one of them could win the championship because they wouldnt have any one to take out the opposition!! |

| There Team owner JTG (Jodie and Tad Geschickter) thought an ALL AUSSIE team is just what was needed. They all wear green and yellow floppy hats (called Bucket Hats) over there and they are selling about 500 a week. Just having an Aussie accent opens doors when you go there,with people and officials more than friendly towards us Aussies. |

| Well its not exactly a driver. According to MA website he now has a few extra Aussies in his new team this year. Heaps of Aussies from SBR and a crew chief that flew in under the radar,hes a Aussie that has been there for 10 years already and won heaps. |
