I reckon the safety car driver might have been a Melbourne cabbie, & he had instructions to wait there for Frosty. Frosty had someone ring a cab after he parked up on the pit wall.

He was just avoiding the safety risks, get out of the car and over the wall, or sit next to the car on the 2nd fastest straight in australia? i'll take the wall anyday lol

He probably didn't want to cop the abuse fromt the spectators had he parked up somewhere else. A quick jump over the wall & he's back with the team.
Must have been very embarrassing for him to be told to get back in the car.lol.
