Ford is voluntarily instigating the recall to check that the concern is not more widespread. | It doesn't matter what type of car it is, your going to get recalls from any manufacturer, the cost that they use to make a new model is huge and the testing done, but your not going to get full results from just small tests, you need to look at overtime tests aswell as usage, and they are things that manufacturers just can't look at without trying to make money. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Commodore owners are really angry that their much loved car has been recalled 23 times in the last 9 years. The million dollar baby accounts for 5 of these since 2006. Common problems with the VE ONLY; Fuel Leaks, Front End Suspension Issues, Seat Belt Pre Tensioner Failure, Power Steering Pump Failure, Fuel Pump Failure, Software Failure, Paint Quality Issues, Air Conditioner Fails(on hot days), Rapid Battery Drain. $1 million dollars well spent. |
