| Following a spate of problems with paint, rust, brake hoses and front suspensions affecting their vehicles, the Holden Owners are angry. In a recent meeting with the pesident of Holden Carsguide presented him with a fistful of emails from owners expressing their concerns, not only with the Holdens ball joints, but also the front brake hoses on the crummydoore that are prone to failure, along with rust and paint problems. |

| I did hear about the Merc's problems during the first half of the noughties, but I have also heard they have cured it - some changes were made upstairs, I think. I think that, if the ATCC were to go to Group C - style spex, you would need to have a strict power to weight ratio to keep things close. And no 4WD. |

| I think this whole argument illustrates the point that, as far as build quality goes, Aussie manufacturing has a long way to go to catch up with Japan and Germany. ------------------------- ------------------------- --------- Actually MERCEDES has the most out of all shocking in the last 3 years. Build quality on allot of imported models have slipped drasticlly since 2000. Fully imported jap cars are the best built cars in my opinion. |

| gen111, as a holden fan, would you like a return to the Group C style of racing, with V8's up against turbo four and sixes? ------------------------- ------------------------- --------- I really dont know.....it would be great to watch,but the turbos most likely would dominate,which in turn would make it rather boring if that was to happen |
