Agreed that Lowndes gets away with a lot in the sense that he gets a bit dirty but no one notices (so stop whining whenever someone drives down the inside of the track).
Dunno how he's want to have a beer with Skaifey.
Agreed about Courtney, but that's why I reckon he's entertaining. Likewise Ingall.
Agreed about Rick Kelly. But, Christ, win a race for a change.
Agreed about Tander.
S'pose he's right about Frosty. |

"But Mark's record on the track speaks for itself. Off the track he has four different personalities. He can be in front of heads of state with a blazer on and then you can get him by yourself for a beer."
On V8's other leading drivers he said:
James Courtney "enjoys his life and plays and races hard. He has the European mentality where it's crash or win. If there's something out there to hit, he'll find it".
Garth Tander is "at the top of his game. He has the experience and the reflexes. He's the best driver in the best car".
Rick Kelly "would have a sad look on his face even if he won the lotto. Nothing's ever good enough for Rick".
Russell Ingall is "the sort of guy who would kill his grandmother to win a car race. He is a real street fighter".
Mark Winterbottom is "the kid I like the most. I respect him more than anyone. He is the fairest bloke I have raced against in my whole life". |

THE man dubbed "the most dangerous and dirty" driver in V8 Supercars has hlt back, giving his verdict on what the sport's top drivers are really like.
Veteran driver and team owner Paul Morris described this crop of V8 Supercar drivers as "glorified steering wheel attendants".
Morwell-born Morris claimed Craig Lowndes "gets away with a lot more than everyone else does because of his legend status".
"He was the last driver to beat (Peter) Brock and he got handed the crown.
When he comes through the pack, people just let him pass, whereas if it was (Mark) Skaife, people would just run into him for the hell of it," Morris said.
"The drivers love him, the fans love him and the officials love him. And he is as good as he's made out to be. He doesn't wreck a lot of cars and he gets the results."
Morris said Greg Murphy was "a bit of a whinger" and the "first bloke to get upset about anything".
He also suggested that Skaife was "the guy most disliked by the drivers".
"Maybe there's a bit of jealousy because he (Skaife) says what he likes. He can sometimes be abrupt and harsh," Morris said. |
