| SS i know what ya mean , but we just need to suck it all up atm. Revenge is a dessert best served chilled- so they tell me -well unless it hot caramel fudge cake with cream lol nye ya right about the lists- but i think we're getting it right - have some talent in the KP's & some quality on-ballers coming through they're the ones we've been missing. But time will tell of course. |

| You don't need an A-grade backline to win flags - look at Hawthorn! I agree your squad looks promising, but they always do! A real bonus is the disinterest your QLD boys have in a return 'home'. Keep the squad together, and injury free, and finals are a given. Bet the AFL will HATE that! :) |

| yeah I do SS - i think its the most skilled squad we've had- squad not side.... Our rucks are A-grade Our mids will be A grade in about a year. Our backs- well a lot depends on Jess Smith getting fit , but should he we're laughing. Our forwards have enough ability to score heavily with enough quality supply from our mids. I'm starting to think also that laidley will be there in 2010. Not sure its the right call- but with such a young list I doubt North would employ a'rookie' coach. And they won't be able to afford a Malthouse or Matthews , not that I think either of those would be the answer. |

| Garlett & Anthony are the only 2 yet to debut. But am confident that both have the goods to deliver. Garlett is a quick skilled mid/forward built and plays like Campbell- yep another aboriginal , may even debut this week has been getting high numbers in the VFL. Anthony is a high skilled long kick (accurate) is mature and would be playing now if not for his injury. Will it be Laidley or another who takes the 'glory'? |

| Was looking at our injury list .... Brent Harvey (elbow), 8-10 weeks... our Cpt Lachlan Hansen (hamstring), 1-3 weeks.... our CHB Robbie Tarrant (leg), 2 weeks.....?? Matt Campbell (hamstring), 1-2 weeks.... our best crumber Daniel Pratt (knee) 1-2 weeks.... our best defender Liam Anthony (foot), 2 weeks.... pre-season form was better than Zeibel's Brady Rawlings (leg), test... our best tagger Daniel Wells (hip/groin), test....very important when fit Leigh Adams (knee), test.... showed a bit before his knee went Jesse Smith (hamstring), indefinite..... as good as we've got when fit!! - they say they've worked out what wron-.finally. Jack Ziebell .... didn't play also against the Cats -unbelievable talent. Add in that we're not playing Corey Jones & Shannon Watt - 2 guys that've played a lot of footy during the last 5 seasons + the delisting & retirements of Shannon Grant , Nathan Thompson , Jess Sinclair & Leigh Brown who ALL played alot of Footy during the past 5 seasons as well. That's about 15 regulars missing from our recent sides. Gees I think we've an amazing opportunity over the coming seasons to have a real crack at the flag. Wells HF)Warren Petrie Thomas FP) Campbell Edwards Garlett Rucks - McIntosh , Ziebell , Anthony , Urquhart- i love that midfield:) Inter Ross, Hale , Firrito , & then a choice of about 8 for the last spot... McMahon ,Harris , Harvey(certain 22 in 2010) , Josh Smith , Goldstein, Harding , Gibson & Swallow. Geez a quick skilled side with plenty of forward pressure , solid down back & a quick midfield with 3 or so rotations. In all my time as a Roo fan I've never known such talent on our list- sure some have a way to go , but 99% of those named don't have a weakness , whether they'll all be able to play AFL- well thats what we're waiting on. Also there's 4 more youngens in the VFL-yet to debut:) |
