Why would North trade Wells .Get off his case Snowy he is a team player he might have to step up and take the next step, but remember he still has 10-12 years of footy left in him.Looked what happened when North traded Mooney to the Cats ,now he would look good at CHF

Wells is not going anywhere Snowy. Im sick of people trying to ship him off.

Take a really good look at his career before you start making silly trade scenarios.

Brown at CHf is a great idea but you got the wrong initial. Should be J.

J.Brown to North
Hale to GC
Wells anywhere we can get something okish

Brown hold up CHF for 3/4 years while Tarrant develops.
Draft picks for hale go towards a FF and Mid
Dont think WC would do Kerr for Wells id orefer a Priddis but realistically more likely a Rosa.

Anyhooo that gives us something now we are desperately missing and things to look forward to in the near future.

would like to see L.Brown at chf big body can take a mark ,and with our fleet of smalls to crum to the ball it could be a move worth a punt

Rand we all know North players aren't given the respect they deserve. Yes ya probably right leave Drew down back. But CHF is a real issue for us at the moment. Just need a stong body to force a contest as we have great crumbers imo

Drew should not leave the backline. He is a very good CHB. He is a general for our defence and its a joke that he hasnt been selected for the Vics.

How does Trent Croad get a game before him is beyond me.

Re:Harding has surprised me. Reply to this message
see rand we finally agree (only taken 2 years:P) Hale is a ruckman , have heard a few 'experts' say he's being destroyed if ya like playing at CHF.

The Hale McIntosh ruck duo is a bloody good combibation , Thommo at FF. Leaves CHF vacant , i would like North to just bite the bullet and put Petrie there. I like u realise our backline has be decimated with injury..... Smith , Gibson , Sinclair have hardly set foot on the park. So until those 3 are up and running i suppose Drew is backline bound.Losing Edwards & even Tarrant so early is also hurting us. Maybe Hansen should play CHB??

yes i did hear Hale played a blinder against the Swans , wish i'd seen it. Although i did see the Edwards incident.!! He was taken out by a bloke who had no interest in contesting the ball , and Hall gets 6 for a love tap. Strange gig this AFl football.

Re:Harding has surprised me. Reply to this message
hale played well against the Swans but was terrible last week. He should be our No 1 ruckman. Much better at the centre bounces than Hamish.

Harris still has no tank even after all these years. Harding has been great.

Re:Harding has surprised me. Reply to this message
fair enough Rand , just that his last qtr was brilliant , but the game was over . I suppose it gets down to how you rate him.?? Is he a good ordinary player as J. Dyer wouyld say. Or is he/ or should he be a superstar taking the game by the scruff of the neck.???

He seems to me to always get 20-21 touches , 3-4 tackles , a smother and 1 shot on goal. Just wish he's push through to the next level.

But what do you think of Hale , MacIntosh , Harris & Hardings season's to date.??

Wells is not going anywhere. Im guessing you havent watched Wells much in the last few weeks ammmatt.

He is doing all the hard stuff, chasing, tackling, smothering. There were plenty of players who were worse than Wells on the weekend. Corey Jones was one of them.

Re:Harding has surprised me. Reply to this message
yes scarpi its a huge challenge, after seeing the draw at the seasons start i thought North would need to be 6-1 or 5-2 to finish in the top 4 . I can't see that now happening , in fact we may miss the finals . Not that i'd be to worried if that was the case.

Yes Pratt seems to get in trouble from Laidley quite often , when i'd say there are others that deserve a spray more than him. Suppose thats life though isn't it.?

Considering we just played in Adelaide (sat night) and 5 of our next 8 are interstate you'd think the Afl could spread out our away games a bit better. Oh well , gees Tiges are doing ok though.Very stiff to lose.

Harding has surprised me. Reply to this message
just thought i start with a positive , Harding's returned and seems a better player after his blown knee. A truly fantastic effort. His run out of defence & strong marking are desperately needed. Big Drew ids going ok too. SAw where Laidley is upset with Pratt & his perchant for giving 50 mtr penalties away. I don't think its our biggest problem at least he gets the bloody ball. Am also still excited by Campbell & Thomas both have needed class & pace.

Am much more concerned with Hale ( 4 touches) Harris who's struggling & even McIntosh who seems to be playing a loose mid field roll , far to many easy kicks for him & not really getting many hitouts. Wells well i hope WCE's didn't see that game last night cause i hope we swap him for Kerr at seasons end. His work rate is pathetic when the game is there to be won. He's the Fremantle of North Melbourne.lol

our next 8 games are as follows........

WCE @ Carrara

Doggies @ Telstra

Lions @ Gabba

Geelong @ Telstra

Freo @ Subiaco

Hawthorn @ MCG

Saints @ Carrara

Port @ AAMi

out of all those i wonder how many we'll win.??? you'd say 2 maybe 3 the way we're going.

but its still a very positive season with the Club getting its self secure off field. GO Roos.!!!!!
