i don't think our injury list could get much worse. Considering Gibson & Pratt have also missed games due to injury . It really shows how much resolve the boys have to be 6th on the ladder. Go Roos.!!........
well it seems our injury list can get worse Hammish McIntosh is out for at least 10 weeks , so thats his season just about done. I think we should keep todays result in perspective. |

Laidley confirmed that Sinclair would need surgery and could miss up to two months.
"He has done some ligaments in his thumb and dislocated it, so will miss about six or more and need surgery," Laidley said.
"After the last two years we have lost Jesse Smith and Nathan Thompson for the season in practice games, so we are getting used to it. It will give someone else an opportunity, though." |

| we certainly did.lol Having Pagan in the back room will do us no harm at all. He's well respected across Afl circles( except Carlton)I meant by not looking back at how bad we where managed, Brayshaw is doing a fantastic job. Sam Newman is now helping out the Roos , apparently he's or g a nising us another new sponsor. |

| Didn't we have this discussion last year in regards to the colbert trade? Anyway I am hopeful that Pagan can bring to the front office what he gave us all those years ago on the field.Yes Pagan did some *** deals but he also did some great deals. I also look forward to the future but embrace the past after all isn't that the reason for the fight against the Gold Coast? We have history and we want to save it. |

i try and look to the future not the past anymore. But Pagan did some sh ite deals when incharge at North. Mark Porter was/is an absolute dud.
Leigh Colbert wasn't worth what we gave up. North seem to do well in the trade when they draft lesser lights from other clubs.
Abraham , Sinclair ,etc |

| Wells should be the player we build our future around. Hes has showed some brilliance and turned a few games but last year was a lost year for him, I think he played through injury which was a bad mistake. We should never have offloaded Motlop, I rated him as a future star. I think Laids is a good coach not a great coach, When Pagan was running the show I used to laugh at the trades he got us, I still thank Swans fans for S Grant 4 Scwass ( spelt wrong........mmmBourbon) Anyway we have traded badly for a few years now and hopefully with Pagan back in the fold he can help not only the club but also the coaching staff get our act together. |

| Daniel Wells is supposed to be a leading player in our team. Somehow his potential still hasn't been fulfilled in my view and this will hurt his chances. |

| I worry a bit about Wells, In the Rugby league I follow the Dogs. Our Star player Sunny Bill is prone to injuries and I really hope Wells isn't going down the same path. I'd rather loose a player for another few weeks and miss the finals, then risk a player early and scew his carer. Although I was calling for T h o m o(how is that an offensive word??? F * * K yahoo) to be brought back early last year |

| Groin injuries over the last few years seem to be an injury that does not come good. I don't know if players are brought back too quickly from this injury, but players from every club who hurt their groin seem to have constant problems until surgery. so Wells maybe an issue throughout the year....lets hope not. |

| coops1612 what you are saying is,if the team with the lest injured players goes on and wins the "BIG ONE" is just good luck ,sorry but you are so wrong if a club goes all season with little or no injuries that,s a credit to the players and club |

| He may just be a fine footy player ammmatt...but if he plays or not would not make any differece to the club as far as how well they would go...now if you had players such as Wells, McIntosh, Harvey ect ect then i would agree that they would be big losses...all clubs have or will have injuries, it,s the clubs that have injuries to key players that affects a teams season...ie Saints, Dees, Lions and Tigers last year..none of them made the 8..Swans alredy have a couple of key injuries and with 1 or 2 more and there season will aready be gone....Look at the last 15 Premiers and you will find they had the healthiest lists through the season....for mine the Saints, if they can get over there harendus injury problems will give 08 a real shake...by far the unluckiest team in the past 5 years as far as injuries go, and it shows on the ladder at the end of each season |
