| if weekend hussler is half as good as kingston town he will be a star-did plenty wrong first up in sydney but still got there-i for 1 hope he is the real deal,we need a new champ now the diva is retired-and as for miss finland, agreed, over raced and sadly will be remembered for her last few runs and not what she did as a 2 and 3 year old-some egos got in the way me thinks. |

| Im just sick of people selling genuine champions short, the word emerging champion is used all the time now, each year we have a New Kingston Town racing, the standard of horses that weekend hustler has been racing, were weakened in his first prep by the virus up in sydney, then the standard he met in melbourne recently wasnt crash hot either,I hope for racings sake he does measure up,but so many horses travel interstate and cant go the opposite way, will be intersting to see how he goes. |

| the king is the best since wwii, but as for miss finland, i belive that she was over raced and like any good athlete she became fatigue and tired of raceing, needs a good spell. |

| Wally Lewis, although dumb, ugly and brainless, was not a horse. |

Yeh i read a similiar article. To borrow from 'The Castle' - "tell 'im he's dreamin'!!!!!"
Hes good for sure, but great? Geez, look at Finland - she was touted as an out and out champion and by some on these boards she was almost to be inducted into the hall of fame - lol! Now look at her. Nothing in open class for yonks and in the end connections just had to come to the realisation that it was pointless in persisting.
Weekend Hustler wont emulate the King, if he sees out the 2040m itll be a huge effort but hes gotta get there first. What happens if he comes to Sydney and does bugnuts? - what'll the trainer say then?. I just dont think hes THAT good. For racings sake itd be great if he turned out to be even close. Coming even close to Kingston Town would mean youd have a top liner anyway and racing always needs them but horses like the King dont come along often. |

I saw were the trainer of this horse believes he is a better 3 yr stayer than kingston town was.
Dont you get sick of every 3yr old that wins group ones being claimed as superior to the great king,,its a joke. The list of horses who have been talked up is endless, and will go on forever it seems. |
