| Apache will be headed to Brisbane, via Sydney. In Sydney Apache will run in the TJ Smith in Sydney, and the BTC and Doomben Cup's in Brisbane. |

| hey...me again. I have a friend from another forum that shined some light on the subject for Apache cat lovers: "Apache is not running in the Newmarket. I believe they (owner's and Greg) were beginning to think that the weight would be a bit much - specially with horses like WeekendHussler + St *** out who will get between 53 and 55kg - If they keep Apache to weight for age, he races longer. (well actually i'm sort of confused about this as his owner's haven't said anything to me..) What I do know is he is going to Sydney, and then more than likely Brisbane. I'm sorry I don't seem to know much more than anyone else, but can find out more if you'd like. Roidz." |

| Shame about you missing out on the trifecta, it was a race with lots of surprises! Looks like there is definite plans to take Apache to England. Also looks as though he will be sharing the lime-light with Takeover Target, no doubt he will be heading over there as well! My what a race!!!!!!!!!! |

| Yes, Apache Cat is certainly back! Hearing the chat around the TAB, he wasn't really a favourite. Gold Edition and Miss Finland were very popular. Gold Edition has been one of my faves but does not come close to Apache Cat. I was interested to see how the two girls were going to run after coming off their hormones. Perhaps they needed that spark! I wonder how many other mares were on this, I suppose we'd get a surprise. Anyhow I'm glad Apache had a great run, he thoroughly deserved it after overcoming illness from the EI vaccination. Can't wait for the next race!!! |

| Hi again jjk! Been away for a bit so missed your interesting news about Apache Cat. I'll have a google to see what I can find out. Today turned out better than the past few. Just when I thought my luck was going sour, I had two good wins with Buzzy Henry and Xavier at Randwick. Oh there is a 'racing god' after all!! Hope you've all had some luck today! |

| New news. Apache cat has been named for the 2008 Newmarket Hcp 08/03/08 A.C is paying $10 Fixed odds. Also gold edition, miss finland, bentley biscuit, weekend hussler have been named as well, there are a few big names in there. Go to the TAB(QLD) website to fixed odds and it will tell you there. | Thanks for the info 'theloftys'. I can't wait, as I'm sure all his other supporters will feel the same way. I hope Apache has recovered well from the EI vaccination, he was very unlucky. I wonder if there were any other horses that got sick from it? I've always believed he is a horse to watch, so all my paper clippings of him are saved. Just looking for something special to hang on the wall. Perhaps after the Lightning Stakes! Any updates are greatly appreciated! |
