| Hawthorn Football Club confirms former North Melbourne Football Club player Jesse Smith has commenced pre-season training with the Hawks. Smithâs management hasnât given any indication to Hawthorn as to his intentions ahead of the 2009 AFL National Draft and no commitment has been made by the Hawks to Jesse for 2010. Chris Pelchen, Hawthorn General Manager Player Personnel and Strategy, confirmed Smith had commenced training with the Hawks at Waverley Park. âThe Hawks are pleased to provide Jesse with an opportunity to train ahead of the 2009 AFL National Draft,â said Pelchen. âWe appreciate that he has been restricted by injury over the past season and will undertake a modified training program accordingly.â -------- I am not so sure we want Jesse, what ya think fellow hawkas? |
