Nye's round 8 dribble - v Dockers Reply to this message
Here we go, the Hawks have their backs to the wall and are staring at a fifth loss of the season, matching their tally from the entire 2008 season!

The boys are unfit, a result of an injury plagued pre-season. A few are coming back to full fitness, none more important than the Buddy Man!

But Hodge is gone for a few weeks, I'm not convinced Bateman will play either. This just adds to the woes and makes the task of beating an in form Fremantle at Subiaco even tougher.

Regardless of what a few are trying to say, the side is not failing due to arrogance or a massive GF hangover - they are battling to keep a regular side on the park and their fitness troubles have made the rolling zone almost impossible to pull off as well as required.

The boys WANT to win, they WANT to remain a premiership force and they WANT to build on what they started last season.

But their comeback won't start this week, the Dockers will have too much run and our defence will be worked over all night.

We will need a massive performance from a few blokes to get up, and maybe we can hope for a bit of Dockers stage fright as they will start favourites.

It won't be a flogging, but I think Freo will have the game to hold us at arms length all night.

My tip: Freo by 27
