Printer friendly Text size+- HAWTHORN ruckman Max Bailey has suffered a setback in his return from a knee injury. Bailey yesterday had an arthroscope on his left knee to repair a torn meniscus, which the club says will sideline him for up to six weeks.
It is the same knee Bailey, 21, had reconstructed in February last year, but the operation yesterday showed the rest of the joint was in good condition.
"The great thing is the other structures in the knee look like they are in pretty good condition," Hawks football manager Mark Evans said. "Other than the tear, which has been trimmed quite nicely, the rest of the knee is in good shape."
Teammate Beau Muston will consult his surgeon later this week as he faces a third knee operation in as many years. |
