New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell tumbled out in the first round of the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship today, beaten 6 and 5 by Briton Justin Rose.
Campbell, seeded 29th for the 64-man tournament, was off his game from the outset, finding himself four-down after five holes at the Dove Mountain's Gallery Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona.
The Wellingtonian shot bogeys on the first, third and fourth holes.
He managed his first birdie on the ninth hole to be three-down at the turn but any chance of a fightback quickly disappeared when 35th-ranked Rose bettered Campbell on the 10th, 12th and 13th holes. |

Ron why should we say anything to you? You said MC will not win again, and you will be on your knees praising him if he wins. So we will wait for this evitable day to come.
On the other hand I said he will win again. So I don't have to do or say anything until he wins again. Simple as that. |

| Jason. My facts are from print in NZ herald copy and pasted. So lets agree they are more accurate than you. You however support my case, did he get last or 5th to last that is the question. He sucks, hes a has been, he like previous All Black world cup squads beleived their own hype. Hes gone. Accept it. Hes a loser, which I can only assume you and Rach are too becuase for some reason you keep supporting him. I have gone on record how I will be on my knees praising him if he win, so you need to e honest and write Ron I correct he is a loser, then I will give you respect, until then go back under the stairs. |

Ron, read your own post.
"After just making the cut with a birdie at the 17th in the second round" This is incorrect as I pointed out. He made the cut at 47th position after the 2nd round which was well inside the cut. So as I stated before get your facts straight you constantly bend facts to make your point which is a sign of compulsive liar! |

hey Ron if you want someone to rise to your intelect *sic
Than you would need to be on ladder for them to do so.
Your English skills are deplorable and typing is worse. Don't challenge someone to a battle of the wits when you are un-armed.
[ Why are you knocking me the guys you supports sucks, fakes injurys and loses everything, yet you are made at me.

| Jason FYI My facts are right the article I posted was an exact copy from NZ Herald. So you need to get you facts right. Of course he "faked the injury" every time he can't compete he uses that to make an excuse for his poor play, rather than the real reason is that he can't handle the pressure and has ever diminished skills. I said I would get on my knees and beg forgiveness if he ever won again, so you all now need to do the same to me and say out loud RON you are right you are our leader. Cause he sucks, and will continue to suck so get on my tea and start supporting only winners with a winning attitude. Stop the fake injuries MC |

Ron once again your facts are totally wrong, as usual.
Michael Campbell was in 47th place after the second round at one over, making him around half way down the field not this birdie on 17th to get above the cut mark. Do you suffer memory lapse or do you just lie?
Secondly he had a bad third round because he was suffering from a neck injury and has actually withdrawn from the rest of the tournament. Ron at least get thing correct if you're trying to make your point. |

New Zealand's Michael Campbell dropped closer to the tail of the field after a very scratchy third round of the US$1.29 million ($1.9m) Malaysian Open golf tournament in a sweltering Kuala Lumpur last night.
After just making the cut with a birdie at the 17th in the second round, Campbell talked about putting together two low rounds - but started poorly with a bogey on the 10th hole (he started on the back nine). He pulled it back to even par by the turn but then promptly took a 6 on the par-four No 1 hole.
There was worse to come - with a bogey five on a par four on the way home and Campbell's round was in grave danger of not recovering from there at the time of going to print last night. He was four over par with three to play, seemingly heading for a 76 and tied for 64th in the 68-man field. |
