You're a bit late Ron, he's playing in Singapore now. Yes, I know, he shot 5 over in the first round, one shot more than another couple of losers eh? Padraig Harrington and KJ Choi?
Keep the verbal diarrhea coming son, it's good for the garden.

Re:Michael Campbell is through Reply to this message
Meanwhile, in Castellon, Spain, New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell crashed out while an impressive round of 66 helped Australia's Robert Allenby grab a share of the lead at the halfway stage.

Allenby was joined at the top of the leaderboard by Germany's Martin Kaymer before play was suspended due to bad light. A group of 50 players will complete their second rounds overnight.

Campbell can pack his bags after shooting a 6-over 77, the worst completed round of the day to drop near the tail of the field on 4-over and miss the cut.

The out-of-touch Wellingtonian made a solid start to the wind-interrupted tournament on Friday, sitting 28th after shooting a two-under 69 to lie six shots behind first round co-leaders Kaymer and Spaniard Sergio Garcia. However, six bogeys and two double-bogeys marred his response yesterday.

MIchael has set up his permanent base in Sydney. so lets make it clear MC is not a New Zealander.. He must now be refered to as Australian. Us NZ'ers can not take the embarrassment of him any longer.

Golf: Campbell crashes to 75
5:45AM Saturday Sep 12, 2009

Former US Open golf champion Michael Campbell's strong start on the opening day of the Mercedes-Benz Championship lasted just four holes in Cologne yesterday. Campbell raced to within a stroke of the lead after he birdied the second and fourth holes. But his troubles returned at the par four fifth hole and he eventually ended the round tied in equal third last in the 78-player, no-cut tournament. Compatriot Mark Brown fared little better, managing just one birdie in a three over 75. Denmark's Soren Hansen, winner of the event two years ago, leads the field by a stroke after carding a seven-under 65.

No, Ronny wonny, you're wrong. I don't care if he never wins again. All I know is that Michael Campbell is a top class golfer who has done more for New Zealand than knockers like you will ever do. So, as Buddy Holly so famously sang, Rave On!

Hey Ron, do us all a favour mate. Go and grab a nice looking sheep and have an extended honeymoon somewhere. Leave a forwarding address so that I can send the latest "spellcheck" software to you. I'm sick of reading kindergarten reports.

Re:Michael Campbell is through Reply to this message
Hopefully, they'll get Ron to check the runways for debris DURING take-offs and landings, and not prior to. That might take his mind off this incessant campaign of garbage against MC, whose talents and success are evidently weighing on Ron's mind. Ron, I wager, has never succeeded at anything worthwhile.

Ronnie dear bou go and get a life. Nothing wrong with Campbell, mate. Try Daly instead.

He abuses alcohol, dresses like a freak, acts like a loser, can't play golf worth jack and he always has that extremely long and dumb look on his face.

I'm sick of seeing this freak out there.

At what point are you going to say "don't write him off".. its been 4 years, that my point, NOW is the time to write him off he just embarrassing himself and New Zealand. He has a home in Sydney, we need to start calling him an aussie, that suits much better for a non performer.

Micheal Showed great potential from a young age he has achieved what many others Couldnt and as far as N.Z golf goes he rates Only behind the Fluid Bob Charlie , probably the Greatest Lefty the world has seen and certainly one of the best putters in the Game , I used to Teach Golf I know , so leave off Micheal , many golfers come back stronger after a break and in their Later Years , dont Write Him off

Re:Michael Campbell is through Reply to this message
I would like to point out a couple of things in regards to Michael Campbell. At the moment (and yes Ron for the last couple of years) he has been struggling with his golf and yes there is constant injuries. My point is this... have you Ron ever played as a professional Golf? Do you have a successful foundation that promotes young New Zealanders to achieve great things and are you an ambassador for NZ golf? My guess would be...No! An embarrassment to NZ golf...I think not! While he might not be Tiger Woods, he has certainly done a lot for NZ and continues to do so. Next time you would like to bag someone, maybe you should look at yourself. What have you done lately that would even come close to what Michael has?

Mate your outa line, Michael Campbell put NZ golf on the map, everyone said he was done before he won the US open, pull your head in and show some credit to a legend of the game, only the very best win US opens and that is how he should be treated

21 over you gotta be kidding me..... I notice how silent you all are.... going on 4 years now and I have been right since day one. Hes finished. Everytime he has a poor round he states an injury as an excuse... he does not deserve to be playing other that a public course with friends with a cart and a beer, he is an embarrassment to NZ Golf. RETIRE!

Re:Michael Campbell is through Reply to this message
TURNBERRY, Scotland (AP)—The struggles continue for New Zealand’s Michael Campbell.

The 2005 U.S. Open champion withdrew from the British Open during the second round on Friday because of a shoulder injury, the fifth time this year he’s dropped out of a tournament.

Campbell opened with an 8-over 78—only three players were worse—and he left the course Friday after a bogey at No. 12 pushed his score to a staggering 21 over. He had a quadruple-bogey 7 at the sixth and a pair of double bogeys.

Campbell has plummeted in the world rankings since winning the U.S. Open at Pinehurst. This year, he has missed the cut 11 times and withdrawn from his other five events.
