phil
I always considered a sport to be anything physical, carried out by individuals or teams competing with each other and providing an enjoyable spectacle for the onlooker, who has a particular interest for the game being played.
Not my best english but I think I have conveyed my opinion.
Do you enjoy golf phil? |

or is it just a game - and a very good one at that.
However I always felt that Sport should be "mostly about athletic endevours" particularly where it involves running, jumping, swimming, kicking a ball, hitting a ball (as in Tennis, Squash, Volleyball) , whatever.
Even billards and Snooker and their like aren't really Sports are they?
Well what do others think? |
