I dont know of a simplified method, however I do know that the end result will be players handicaps tend to come down.
Having spent time playing in the USA and in other parts of the world I rarely met anyone who was able to play to their supposed handicap.
It was great actually because you generally knew that if one of our North American friends said they were a 9 handicap, they really played to a 13. Good for the wallet usually.
Incidentally I understand handicaps have not materially changed with the advances in technology from 30 years ago.
Does anyone know of a simple handicap calculation method based on the changes to come in in a few weeks?
I am not fully conversant on them as yet, but I understand they will bring us into line with the US/Europe - Is this correct?
How do people feel the changes will impact?
