| nikkles - dont worry about doc - just likes to make a big fuss over something so small. my dad wanted to put up the flag the other day but thankfully he didnt otherwise it wouldve been blow away - the neighbours across the street have their balloons and streamers intact, but i think because its shielded from the direction of the wind and rain, they havent lost theirs. Our front faces west so its bearing the brunt of the weather. I hope tomorrow is heaps better than today. |

After the nasty winds and rain, I regret putting up my balloons and streamers early yesterday morning. Had I known we were getting this weather Id have reconsidered. | I dont know but if you picked up a copy of the geelong advertiser, there is a comp to win tickets. The classifieds have quite a few listings of people wanting to purchase tickets. |

| I actually went to the ticketmaster website last night and into AFL Grand Final section and looked for the tickets - there is a pdf file on the membership numbers that got their tickets but wasnt able to get prices or availability. (i installed a adobe reader update last night and kind of freezed so i gave up looking further). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| My elderly neighbour who has been a devoted Cats Member for 42yrs missed out on the Ballad pick to see the Grandfinal.He is devestated, which brings me to my question, I dont understand why the Old Geelong Veterans dont jump ahead of cue when picked, I would assuming think that their contribution as members for so many years should be accomodated first and then others. 42yrs shows true lotality and dedicaion, wouldnt it be fair to say that the oldies should be first picked in these situations? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
