| nikkles - i know what you mean - its not fair for the long term member to be denied access to see the GF. My dad has been to every geelong GF (since '63) and was a member but hasnt been for quite a few years. He wanted to know if he could get tickets but the way it has been done, there is no way he'll be going this year. He has stated he wants to become a member again. Ive never been to a final - have only watched it on tv. But at same time, how do you handle thousands of people who want to go to the GF - i think they feel that the demand is too great and doing a ballot is a fairer system. |

| Libran - what are your thoughts on the ballads picks? I mean Id love to go and its there year, but wouldnt you think that the AFL would choose the veteran members before anyone else, or am I sounding one sided maybe? This issue is just fresh in my mind and love to hav others opinions on it. | Here here...The guys were proud as punch! Geelong Cats have had one roll to follow another this whole season, the granny would be the icing over the cake. Alot of people I know though missed out on the ballads, one who has been a member for 42 years and cant understand why the Afl doesnt put the most loyal lovers ahead of the cue first. It would seem logical wouldnt it too have veteran members come first? At the end of the day though, I got a crazy feeling we will win it.
