| Losing the first 3 cost them. Although its mathematically possible they have to rely on too many other results. All the saints have to do is beat Richmond and they end that chance, the Crows only have to beat the Pies to secure a spot. | They are still some chance but really they have only got themselves to blame. That game against port adelaide early in the season really cost them. | Brisbane are in the 8 btw. Crows havent done well at home this season (see post in Sydney disucssion) so would be a bit hard to finish strong. Freo would need to be able to get past a half decent Saints defence in Hudghton, Maguire and the two Fisher brothers. Would be hard to hit their targets inside 50 for every goal so would need to break it up and get inside quickly. |

| The odds are well against them. Beating St Kilda at the Dome is a hard task in itself. When they're fighting to play finals footy and desperately seeking a win it will be close to impossible. If they can't get over St Kilda they won't have much of a chance at all. One week at a time fellas. |
