he actually didn't break it - this is the latest on the injury:
* DUSTIN Fletcher will only miss 3-4 weeks after scans revealed his foot injury wasn't as severe as first thought.
The veteran Essendon defender had scans today in Melbourne which revealed he has a hairline fracture of the fibula - not a full break as was feared - and he is expected to miss three or four weeks.
If it had been a full break, he would have missed eight weeks.* |

I ain't too worried .... the bombers have had a few very good wins in the past couple of weeks and were understandably flat....it is hard for a young developing team to keep it going especially after 2 blockbuster games against carlton and collingwood.
hopefully they will get some re-energising this week and give it to your girls.
Fletcher breaking his leg was a shock considering the reports were that he only rolled his ankle.
BUt Daniher should be right to play so he might come in to cover for Fletcher or maybe Hurley :) |

AFL tribunal clears Brown, suspends Shaw
Posted 59 minutes ago
Map: Collingwood 3066
Hawthorn's Campbell Brown has been cleared of a rough conduct charge by the AFL tribunal.
The tribunal ruled it was not satisfied Brown made forcible contact with the head of Kangaroos midfielder Daniel Wells.
Brown is free to play against Port Adelaide on Saturday.
But Collingwood defender Heath Shaw will miss Friday night's clash against the Lions after the tribunal suspended him for one match for intentionally making contact with an umpire.
Shaw did not challenge the charge. He was also fined $1,900. |
