| Work for a racehorse produce store next to the gold coast turf club and we have the trainers all round nth n.s.w to the sunshine coast buying off us we also get the magic millions yearling sales contract every year it is on at the moment and i working every day 11 12 hour shifts but yes i am duely rewarded for my effort my boss is a man who came from nothing and built a small empire he respects hard work a true old school aussie | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| also, dont think the bomber players thought they were better. The game plan has been to take on the opposition on and to play positive footy. They did that and were just outplayed. The cats play a great team game and dont give a team much room to make space as the bombers have had til now. Pretty sure the bombers will bounce back again and can probably challenge most teams in the comp on their day. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| yearh scarpi, they were not the only two who were brilliant today. We were not accountable enough on the turnovers, not enough players working hard enough back. Few of our older players had shockers too, but it was just really nearly every player getting beaten by his opponent. With the exception of Paddy Ryder who was great in defence and was unlucky not to keep Mooney to no goals. Beat him hands down. Jetta, Davey and Lonergan were good too. Lloyd really didnt get the delivery to dominate, or the room in the forward line as the cats structure was just too good. Needed some more help down there and both Lay#### and Hille let the cats rucks down by missing easy shots and easy marks. McPhee and mcVeigh had shockers too, and we struggled even more when Dempsey went off in the second. Jobe also could have hurt Ling up forward but missed some easy shots. No excuses though, the Cats were by far the better team. Good lessons learnt and i think the young guys will be better for it later in the year. Not many teams in the comp would have competed even close with the cats today. The Cats bodies are obvioulsy alot more developed than our boys too, and it showed today. Good on Davey, Jetta and Lonergan for taking it right up to much bigger bodies though. |

| big words again Jed. I also am not too worried about today. Disappointed we didnt do better. But a young team will cop some big defeats against a side liek that when they are on fire. The bombers skills were alot worse than they have been so far this year, but that can also come from the great team structure Geelong have. The missed shots at goal and dropped marks and missed targets are something to work on and just made the result slip out so far. Cant afford to turn over like that against the Cats. Good preformances by Davey, Jetta, Lonergan and Ryder, so not all bad from the game. | no improvement? so the new style of play is not an improvement? obviously if you are only looking at game against Geelong then well I think a lot of teams will cop it from them. THe bombers will be better for this game! See how it is really done and take notes and move on from this game! |

| well, round 1 is here and gone. Was a long wait with plenty of anticipation for bomber fans. Very solid effort for round 1. The game plan from NAB cup carried through, after an early scare from a tough, disciplined roos unit. We rode the storm well though and as the momentum turned, our fast ball movement and speedy legs through the midfield hurt the Kangas. Winderlich apparently had a great game for Bendigo and will add more pace and experience to the mix next week. Lovett may get a run too. Cant see any other changes. Monfries will be sidelined again i would think. | Bombers looked a bit overwhelmed early, but the speed and fitness started to show out a bit more towards end of second term. Hopefully we can keep it up and grind out a win. Gunna be tough though. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
