now Eric - you can't honestly expect brownoz to be up to date on all things Hawks related with the amount of time he spends discussing matters to relate to the Tigers & Cats. We all know how much time he spends reading all the latest news on those clubs, the Hawks are just a cover for the teams he really is passionate about.

Is that why you rarely post in the hawks section?

He might have a weak bone structure - he has also broken his wrist & arm in previous seasons.

If he remains fit & health he should be a gem of a player and as long as he doesn't kick a winning goal against the Cats I will be happy, lol

Re:current list Reply to this message
yeah happy with picking up Prismall .. the knee injury won't be as much of a concern really these days with modern medicene etc... back in the old days of real footy it would of been a wasted trade but these days players are drafted with dodgy shoulders, ie: Judd, Buddy etc and still go on to do something with their career so why would Prismall be much different .... though of course not up at their level one could only dream haha

Re:current list Reply to this message
Good luck to Prismall at the Bombers - even though only young he should add some experience to ya midfield & be a good player for years to come if he stays fit & healthy.

Lloyd will play out his career at the bombers! :)

Re:current list Reply to this message
Lloyd isn't the problem in the Bombers forward line - he was the shining light this year and its just a pity he didn't get a bit more of the ball. If he was in the Hawks forward line in place of Buddy he would have kicked 150+.

Layc*ck should retire and that would be the best thing for the team. But if Lloyd does decide to retire, then the Cats should pick him up :)

happy you think lloyd average of 3 shots a game is acceptable for a ff erik personally i would be fuming but you are a tolerant person while lloyd just normally waits in the goal square for a shot thats good

Re:current list Reply to this message
haha don't get sunburnt away from your bridge rbrown.

you are just upset that he is the most accurate Forward in the game! if he was given the same amount of opportunites as Buddy .... Lloyd would be sitting on 88 goals already!

Lloyd 33 goals 10 points = 76.74% and with a young and developing midfield

Buddy 66 goals 49 points = 57.39% and with the 2nd best midfield in the comp feeding him

btw a good full forward doesn't run to the boundary line - that is a sign of a good defence

Re:current list Reply to this message
yeah, its a tough call on MJ. It often is with players in this situation. Without doubt he has been a loyal servent who has put everything he has into the bombers. Thats the tough bit. On an emotional level you definately dont want to see him go. On performance, well, he really put in this year again, but does seem to be starting to have trouble keeping up with play at times, and he could probably only really take the small forward role. With the young guys on the list, there may just not have been room to fit him in with the plans, especially when alot of them fill the same sort of role. Very sad to see him go though.

Re:current list Reply to this message
not sure on who I would of let go, but for me I would never have thought MJ would be shown the door!

I think Lovett and Lovett-Murray need to be hit with a stick to really do something they seem a bit pedestrian like.

JJ has not been seen.

McPhee needs to get back to his old ways or else I think he should be shown the door.

The jury for me is still out on Mal Michael
