yeah, big ask for next year, but its an exciting time for a bomber fan. Behind Geelong, next year is a pretty open field and if we have a better run with injuries and can play with the confidence and excitement that they showed quite a bit this year (especially before the injuries that hurt our running players in the second half of the year), we have as much chance to play finals as most of the next 15 sides.

think thats the point we were making there josef. Next year is an unknown entity. Lots of players in the 20-22 bracket that need to step up. If they do who knows, but its a big ask. A few more years and we will be the goods again, dont worry about that.

The Bombers won't make the finals for the next year or two unfortunately for you guys. They need to rebuild long term.

The clean out has begun. Its clear Matthew Knights has a vision for the bombers and is going to have a far different approach to sheeds. Some sheeds favorites, like Dean Wallis as assistant is out, and Mark Bolten retired. Gary Ayres also let go as he didnt want the "lesser" role he was offered. With Heffernan and Camporeale also gone, shows he is interested in developing the young guys. Who knows what next year holds for the bombers, they might surprise. But without a doubt this is good for the following years as there is alot of young talent in the list.
