ADAM GOT A HIGH HIT WHICH RATTELED THE BIG FELLA.HE WENT TO THE DOCTOR FOR CHECK UP AND A SCAN. THE SCAN SHOWED A TUMOUR ON THE BRAIN. THE TACKEL MAY HAVE SAVED HIS LIFE.STRANG THING LIFE ISN'T IT.

The tackle was a shocker !!!! Shame too, cause young Ritson looked like he had a good career in front of him.

Questions about Parramatta Eels

1) Adam Ritson. Does anyone remember him? Apparently he got hit in a very bad tackle that nearly killed him. I never saw it, but from anyone who does remember the incident (i can only faintly, as i was only 9 yrs old at the time), was the tackle that bad or did it look that bad?

2) Why was Parramatta's form very bad in 1995 (where they only won 3 games or so)?

3) What was tv coverage of Parramatta Eels like before Super League (the few or so years before 1997)? was it better than what it was now?
