| Well, it has been a few months since my post about the Eels woes. Someone must have listened because Finchy is gone and Hayne is in the No. 1 spot and the mighty blue and golds are rockin. | I'm in a stats mood today, so here are some numbers: Feleti Mateo avg 34.7 tackles a game. Your most dangerous attacking player can't be busting his butt in defence like that. Ditto Nathan Hindmarsh (49 tackles/game) Jarryd Hayne 0 line break assists. Nice try, but put him at the back where he belongs. And if he runs the ball dead from a kickoff again, put him in the VB Cup. Give the Keating boys more minutes, at least they're having a red-hot go, hard to say the same for some of the other blokes. Give Weller a rest, I think he still has the imprint of Soliola's shoulder on his ribs. |

| What has happened to mighty Eels? They have a fantastic team on paper but when they come onto the field they just cannot seem to play any football. I say we put Feleti Mateo back at the number 6 jersey and get rid of Finch as the number 7. Finchy is just no good. Great guy but he has no attacking skills like the other number 7s in the league. Might probably put Luke Burt anywhere else but fullback. I think put Hayne there instead. Hayne can still attack at fullback the way Slater does for Melbourne. Even if they are sucking hard, i am still a proud Parra fan. I just want something to cheer about |
