Re:Good Budget
The donation of $1million by the Qld government is a great gesture considering the huge repair bill Qld will face up in Ingham and north Qld following the floods

And SDM, NZSW govt would get more GST money if they didnt fill in the requisition forms to the Federal Government with red crayon and 100 spelling mistakes.

Re:Good Budget
eric,

Why use good petrol it is expensive.

I am sure that all those mechanics service stations have an abundance of sump oil that we could use.

Re:Good Budget
mip,

Any loss of life in tragic circumstances like these when they are a deliberate act is always gut wrenching.

The most hardest thing of all is to consider the total waste of young life, "CHILDREN" Victims of fires for what??

So some piro can get their jollies. That is what really gets my goat going. It is easy to talk tough over the net but I tell you, I have the same feelings towards these sicko's.

Why the loss of such incocent lives??????

Re:Good Budget
It is a releif to see that the big companies will but it is the lesser known companies that could possibly shame us.

The RACV, RACQ, NRMA and their counterparts in all states all ways come good on their policies.

Re:Good Budget
RACV tonight said that their policy covered fires, so the sooner that people contact them the sooner they can start doing something with a turn around in as little as a couple of days.

So at least 1 of them will be doing something right

Re:Good Budget
On to the sad side of the fires.

I just can not but help wonder from past experiences from similar disasters, just how many insurance companies will not hesitate to come good on the policies.

Worse still how many will claim that they can not pay up due to the global economic status.

I am sure that we will hear from victims and survivors about insurance companies being right proper AR5EHOLES.

Re:Good Budget
Why medicate them mip?

You want them to feel the pain and despare that the victims of their sickness do.

I still vote to freeze their hands and smash em with a hammer in front of their open eyes. They will never light fires again.

Re:Good Budget
Pyromania is a sickness, just like pae.dophilia
Sufferers of the illness cannot fit into society.
No therapy will "reform" them.
Their urge to watch the flames is involuntary and cannot be controlled. Despite their knowledge of the severe consequences of their actions, it is like an addiction they cannot control. They are a severe risk to rural Australia
Lock them up , and throw away the key. The only other option is to medicate them to the eyeballs so they are incapable of lighting a fire.

Re:Good Budget
Oh cricket I despair mate I feel deep down that a lot of these have been purposely lit.

Its abhorrent.

I hear on the news that these fire bug cu nts are relighting fires that have already been put out.

I mean this :- if you know a fire bug and you shop him/her my company will pay you 10K on conviction.

I mean it...put the word around.

U shop one of these little phu ckers and the money is yours.

I'M SERIOUS HERE !!!!!

Re:Good Budget
More than 40 people are feared dead, including six people in one car, as blazes continue to ravage Victoria with more than 100,000 hectares affected.

Twenty-six people are confirmed dead and the toll is expected to rise after the worst bushfires in Victoria since Ash Wednesday.

When was the last time there this many fires? 2000???
