| I think Rees is the best leader in the current labor party, if he's replaced then the polls will look even worse. |

NSW Premier Nathan Rees says he had no knowledge of an audio tape allegedly containing revelations of the bribing of state and federal Labor politicians.
Mr Rees celebrated one year in office on Saturday by attending a spring fair in his western Sydney electorate.
He and his wife greeted locals at the fair as a horde of media followed him around in anticipation of a non-scheduled press conference following claims a Sydney businessman's murder could be linked to a damning tape recording.
Michael McGurk had said he feared for his life.
Sydney entrepreneur Jim Byrnes said Mr McGurk told him he had a tape recording of a conversation capable of bringing down the NSW government and was concerned for his life.
Sydney Morning Herald journalist Kate McClymont has said Mr McGurk had told her he had audio containing revelations about the bribing of state and federal Labor politicians.
Mr McGurk, 45, was shot dead outside his home in Cranbrook Avenue, Cremorne, on Sydney's North Shore, about 6.30pm (AEST) on Thursday.
His young son witnessed the killing!

Is this a nedia beat up or is it for real?
Could this be the end for the corrupt NSW Government? or
Is it another ute-gate scandal? |

Quote of the Year:
(By the late Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931 - 2005)
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.
You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it." |

Dumped Australia opener Phillip Hughes has set up a date with Sachin Tendulkar where he hopes to learn from the Indian stalwart's experiences following his own Ashes meltdown.
------------------------- ------------
Now that is a good budget idea. I think Hughes is walking down the right road to success by seeking help from all areas. But if he tries to take in too much info it could just confuse him.
I mean what works for Sachin may not work for Hughes. |

England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff has conceded he may never play cricket cricket again.
The 31-year-old underwent surgery on his long-standing knee injury after helping England seal its second consecutive home Ashes series win at The Oval last weekend.
Flintoff hopes to be back in action by March, but he said: "There is a possibility I may not play again. It's something I'm going to have to be prepared for in case the operation is not as successful as I hope."
"There will be a question mark in my mind about whether I have played my last game until I know how the operation has turned out."
"I'd be lying if I said it hadn't crossed my mind, but the success rate for an operation like this is pretty good."
"The bottom line is that if it doesn't work, there's nothing I can do about it."
"But I don't want my career to end like this. My Test career ended with a high by England winning the Ashes and I'd like to finish my one-day career by winning the World Cup."
------------------------- -----------
BTW my appologies Tigerette. or should I say tiga from whinney the pooh?
Just teasing! It was a typo and I was having a very blonde day. |

I see the typical stupid pmmie louts have rioted over that braindead game soccer.
Brett Lee has come out in defence of Punter saying he is unfairly taking critisism.
I say Brett Lee you are to blame for us loosing the Ashes again. If you had of been fit for the first 2 tests then we would have won easily. So it is YOU FAULT Lee |
